Delete your
ShowWright account
Last updated: 23 October 2026
The ShowWright app and web app are made by Proofwright AI LLC. You can delete your ShowWright account yourself, in the app, at any time. If you can’t open the app, you can ask us to do it by email. This page applies to the ShowWright app for iPad, iPhone and Android and to the web app at app.showwright.app.
Delete it yourself in the app
- Sign in to ShowWright.
- Open Account:
- Reps: tap the Account button at the top of the presenting screen.
- Administrators: tap your name at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
- Find the Delete account card and tap Delete my account….
- Read what will happen, type the confirmation word shown, and confirm.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. You are signed out on every device.
Can’t use the app? Request deletion by email
Email support@showwright.app with the subject Delete my ShowWright account, from the email address on the account. Include your name and your company’s name. We may reply to confirm it is really you before we delete anything. We will complete a verified request within 30 days, usually sooner, and tell you when it is done.
Homeowners who were shown a presentation or sent a link, and who want the record about them deleted, can use the same address. Include the property address or the name of the company that sent it.
What is deleted
It depends on who you are in your company’s ShowWright account.
- A rep, designer or manager deleting their own account: your login, name, email and password are removed; your AI consent record and your alert settings (including any phone number you gave for text alerts) are deleted; and you are signed out everywhere.
- The only administrator of a company deleting the organization: everything in it is deleted right away — all accounts, decks, properties, photos, share links, presentation analytics and solar records — and the company’s subscription is cancelled. The one exception is signed agreements (see below). Shared links stop working for anyone you sent them to. Stored photos and files are removed from our file storage.
What is kept
- Your company’s work stays with your company. If you delete just your own account while others still use the organization, the decks, properties, photos, presentation history and signed agreements you worked on belong to the company and remain, shown under the name “Deleted user.” A signed agreement keeps the rep’s name as written at signing. To remove company records too, the company’s last administrator must delete the organization.
- If you are the only administrator and others still use the organization: on the web, make another person an administrator first (Team), then delete your account. In the iPad, iPhone or Android app, deleting your account as the only administrator deletes the whole organization; the app tells you so before you confirm.
- Deleted data may remain in routine backups for a limited time before it is overwritten, and we keep minimal billing and tax records as the law requires.
- Signed agreements are kept for seven years when a company deletes its account, as a legal record, then deleted. They are locked: your former staff can no longer open them, only Proofwright’s account owner can, every access is logged, and they are released only on a legal request. Export what you need before you delete.
